Coto Releases New Compact ATE-Grade Form C Reed Relay

Coto Technology introduces its new, readily available 9853 Series Reed Relay that offers the same electrical performance and PCB layout as Coto’s popular 9852 J-lead.

Coto Technology has announced the release of its new CotoClassic™ 9853 Series Reed Relay.  The 9853 Series provides the same electrical performance and PCB layout as Coto’s exclusive 9852 J-lead relay, but with a new package design that offers much greater availability to support high-volume ATE applications.  The compact-sized 9853 relay is 13mm long and 5.6mm wide and features guaranteed break-before-make switching and high-speed performance.  In addition to offering an enhanced capability of 50V switching, the 9853 includes a standard coaxial shield for 50 Ω impedance with an external magnetic shield to minimize magnetic interaction between relays.  The 9853 also features hermetically-sealed contacts for environmental resistance and long life.  The relay is ideal for use in Automated Test Equipment (ATE), Instrumentation and Telecommunication applications where high reliability and long life are critical.   Coto’s 9853 reed relay is RoHS compliant.  Tape and Reel packaging is available.
